I couldn’t be there…. anyone? On the internet are a lot of interesting articles in the news, I read a lot of them! I think it was a very nice event! Maybe I could take a look on it another time in a different location. Never say never!

Some times ago I posted about the RoboCup World Championship 2009 which takes place at Graz / Austria form June 29 until July 5. For futher informations read ahead on the official homepage -> http://www.robocup2009.org/

The idea was to simply enhance the IBM Optical Library, so that a failure message (of an unreadable WORM), will automatically be saved (by a webcam) and then committed (by pressing the “Enter” button). In the following video you can see the Lego Mindstorms NXT hitting the “Enter” button after the failure message appears on the left monitor.

The program which is called by the shell-script on the Debian machine has been compiled and uploaded to the NXT with the NeXTTool.

From June 29 until July 5 2009 the RoboCup World Championship takes place in Graz Austria.
I think this will be an interessting event for all robotic technology fans. Of course, I hope to stay there at weekend because during the week i have to work. For more informations you can visit the offical homepage http://www.robocup2009.org/.
